Shooted in the city of Prato, the short documentary made by Edoardo Nieri in 2014, was part of an university program of the Department of Architecture in Florence.

After beign shortlisted to represent the univeristy of Florence, the short documentary have been screened at Mediarch, an international movie festival of "architecture in cinema" in the same year, in Florence.

The movie, aim to tell the story of the industrial city of Prato, through its own chimneys. Those giants that are still shaping the skyline of the city.

"The town of the 100 chimneys" it was called, to give the impression of the amount of textile factories that were working actively in Prato.

A city that was focusing since the 19th century, into the production of sustainable wool by recycling old clothes and production waste.

Many factories are still working, others instead have stopped their activities, never than less they are part of the historical past and identity of the city.
